LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Do you remember playing with die-cast cars? Maybe it was Hot Wheels or Match Box. Either way, a die-cast collector’s dream is about to get underway in Las Vegas when one of the biggest diecast conventions opens.

Toy Shack owner Johnny Jimenez gave 8 News Now Good Day a sneak peek at some of the Die-cast collectible cars to be featured at the 2025 Die-Cast Super Con. An exclusive release is the IXO 1:64 Limited Edition Dodge Challenger. It’s considered a must-have among collectors and the only way to get it is by attending the show.

“Everyone represented in the industry is going to be here,” Jiminez said.

He also shared a few rare Hot Wheels, including a replica of the most expensive Hot Wheels car in the collecting world. It’s a 1969 Pink Rear-Loading Volkswagen Beach Bomb. There were only two made and one recently sold for $100,000.
