LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — If you like classic and custom cars, UMC is hosting an event that mixes that experience with vehicle safety education, fun activities, and free items.

UMC is hosting the Family Road Safety Event & Car Show on Saturday, March 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Clark County Government Center, located at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Admission is free.

“Those Happy Days” Car Show will display more than 100 custom, modern, and classic vehicles. There will also be crosswalks and bicycle signaling demonstrations as well as child-friendly activities, games and face painting.

Free booster seats will be given out while supplies last and there will be 1,000 adult and child bicycle helmets with custom fittings handed out and opportunities to win bicycles. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Vehicle registrations from the car show go to fund patient-focused projects at the Children’s Hospital.
