Here are the latest updates released since the last product update. If you experience any issues or notice features not working as expected, please contact us at sales@ch-aviation.com.
Subscribe Page – New Check-Out Process
As our data offerings have been continuously growing and new products continue to be developed, our sales model became centered around a single product that depended on multiple others. This made it harder for prospects and customers to clearly understand which data best fits their needs.
Our Subscribe page (https://www.ch-aviation.com/subscribe) has been redesigned to help both users and us better identify the market they operate in and the areas they are interested in, allowing us to more accurately guide them toward the data and news products tailored to their specific needs.
To help identify their needs, users will be guided through a short questionnaire to better understand:
- What are they looking for
We now ask users to select whether they would like to request a 14-day complimentary trial, a complimentary consultation on their data needs, or purchase a specific product.

- What Industry are they interested in?
Users can indicate whether they are interested in Commercial Aviation, Business Jets, or both, allowing us to better understand their scope of interest.

- What industry they work in
Users can select their industry from the drop-down menu, allowing us to tailor the data to their needs and avoid overwhelming them with unnecessary information.

Product Pages – Content Standardised
New product pages have been released for ch-aviation searches, including Operators, Lessors, Aircraft, Airports, and Airframe MRO searches. Our old “product pages” have been replaced with comprehensive product pages that clearly explain each product, its features, how to perform searches, and what the results represent. These pages are designed to help users quickly understand the value of each product, navigate the tools efficiently, and make the most of the data available.
Here are a few examples:
Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data
Commercial Aviation Accident and Incident Data
Business Jet Operator Contact Data
Users can find all of our product pages listed in the footer of our homepage. For logged-in users, these pages should be opened in incognito mode.
Aircraft Search – Aircraft Register ISO Display Fixed
Previously, when enabling the Aircraft Register ISO column in Aircraft Search results via Edit View, the displayed information was not shown correctly. This issue has been fixed. The Aircraft Register ISO column now correctly displays the country description associated with the aircraft registration.

Operator Search – Business Model Filter Added
Before, Operator Search did not allow users to filter or view operators by business model. Operator Search has now been enhanced with Business Model data across search, results, and exports:
- A new Business Model filter has been added under Advanced Search, allowing users to select one or multiple business models.
- A Business Model column has been added to Operator Search results and can be enabled via Edit View.
- The Business Model field is now also included in downloaded search result files.
With the launch of Operator Business Models, we are now classifying all active scheduled operators into clearly defined business models using a multi-dimensional framework that considers fleet composition, aircraft interiors, route networks, scheduling patterns, and ownership structures.
The following business models are identified:
- Capacity Provider: Operators operating regional aircraft under another carrier’s brand without offering their own commercial services.
- Global Mega Carrier: Operators with a global network and strong brand presence, operating highly complex international hub-and-spoke systems.
- Hybrid Carrier: Operators that evolved from low-cost roots but now use mixed fleets, offer connections, and maintain some legacy-carrier features.
- International Carrier: Operators serving destinations on three or more continents with long-haul-capable fleets and complex scheduling and distribution.
- Leisure Carrier: Operators primarily serving holiday destinations with seasonal schedules and a mix of charter and scheduled flights.
- Low-Cost Carrier: Operators using single aircraft types and point-to-point networks to keep costs low and offer unbundled fares.
- Regional Carrier: Operators focused on short-haul routes within a region and not operating long-haul flights.
- Niche Carrier: Operators focused on a specific/specialized market segment or a region.

Airline Contact Information – Email Display Improved
Sometimes, long airline email addresses could overlap with adjacent fields in search results, making them difficult to read or copy. This is now fixed, and email addresses are now displayed under a simplified “Email” label, with a copy button added to allow users to easily copy the full email address.

Order Search – Deep Link Fixed
There was an issue with the deep link under Total in Order Search redirecting to Aircraft Search without displaying any results. This issue has been fixed, and the deep link now correctly redirects to Aircraft Search with the relevant results displayed.

Country Profile – Number of Operators Updated
Previously, the Number of Operators shown on Country Profile pages included operators across all statuses.
The Number of Operators metric has been updated to include only operators with the following statuses:
- Active
- Start-Up
- Restarting
This provides a more accurate representation of currently relevant operator activity within each country.

This concludes all changes made with this update. To see the change notes for previous updates, please click here.
