LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — With the start of school only about a month away, the Clark County School District announced four Back-to-School Fairs on upcoming Saturdays.
The fairs will give families the opportunity to ask questions regarding registration, transportation, food service and other topics, according to a Thursday news release.
Cox Communications is partnering with CCSD again, and more than 30 organizations are available to provide information to families about available services and programs in the community.
The 2024-25 school year begins Monday, Aug. 12.
The schedule for this year’s fairs gets started on Saturday, July 13, and continues each Saturday, concluding on Aug. 3:
- Back to School Fair #1
- Saturday, July 13, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Galleria at Sunset, 1300 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, NV 89014
- Back to School Fair #2
- Saturday, July 20, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., at The Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89169
- *Immunizations will be available on-site.
- Back to School Fair #3
- Saturday, July 27, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Downtown Summerlin, 1980 Festival Plaza Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135
- Back to School Fair #4
- Saturday, August 3, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107
- *Immunizations will be available on-site
The CCSD Police Department is partnering with the Injured Police Officers Fund and several community partners to distribute school supplies, clothes, teacher supplies and backpacks on Saturday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The giveaway is at 6601 W.
