LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The Clark County School District Board of Trustees will vote Thursday to officially remove its former chief financial officer from its employment records.

Jason Goudie previously told 8 News Now he was fired without cause last year in September. He also served as the Deputy Superintendent of Business Administration.

According to the Clark County School District, the district has paid Goudie for the last six months as part of his separation.

“His employment contract provided that upon termination, he would receive six months of pay to be paid in accordance with the District’s regular payroll practices. In order to accomplish this, Mr. Goudie was kept on the books to allow for these payments. With all payments completed, Mr. Goudie will be removed from the District’s records as an employee,” the district said in a statement.

Records 8 News Now obtained showed Goudie’s yearly salary was around $250,000 a year.

CCSD has not hired a permanent CFO since Goudie’s firing.

He was let go amid budget issues with the district.
