Cardi B took a jab at the U.S. government during one of her recent shows.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper was performing her hit “Thotiana” at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Friday when she took a tumble off a chair mid-performance.
Cardi B used the incident as an opportunity to poke fun at lawmakers when she pointed back at the chair and proclaimed, “That was the government,” according to a video posted on X.
The jokes didn’t stop there. The day after the show, Cardi B reposted the video with the caption, “Can someone put a community note on this ? This video is clearly Ai.”
The “I Like Hit” rapper kicked of her highly anticipated Little Miss Drama Tour at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Cardi B also used that show to make another political statement by addressing ICE.
“If ICE comes in here, we gon’ jump they asses,” she said, according to Billboard. “I’ve got some bear mace in the back! They ain’t taking my fans.”
The following day, the United States Department of Homeland Security responded to Cardi B on X, writing, “As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior.”
The rap star then clapped back at the DHS by writing, “If we talking about drugs let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to rape them. Why y’all don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?”
