LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A body was discovered inside a burning van in North Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 2:05 p.m. Tuesday the North Las Vegas Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 1000 block of East Colton Avenue near Losee Road and West Cheyenne Avenue.
When fire crews arrived they found a later-model van parked and fully engulfed in flames on Colton Avenue. After firefighters extinguished the fire they found a body inside the van.
Investigators from NLVFD and NLVPD are investigating the incident.
