LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are looking for the suspect who gunned down a man standing in front of a residence in a south valley neighborhood.

The shooting occured around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 5700 block of Ritter Lane, near Hacienda Avenue and Jones Boulevard. The victim was transported to UMC where he was later pronounced dead.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the suspect who is described as a Black man, was wearing dark clothing and riding a bicycle. The suspect rode towards the victim. After several shots were fired, the suspect was seen running towards his bicycle and riding away north on Steinbrenner Lane.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
