LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man was arrested Friday in connection to the 2024 shooting death of a 49-year-old North Las Vegas man, police said.

Christopher Knowles, 34, was identified as a person of interest in a July homicide where a man was shot to death. Knowles, who was in police custody at the Clark County Detention Center on unrelated charges, was interviewed by detectives and subsequently booked on charges of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, burglary with the use of a deadly weapon, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Corey Christensen, 49, of North Las Vegas, was found with gunshot wounds in a home in the 1700 block of Ingraham near Pecos Road and Owens Avenue around 6:30 a.m. on July 31, 2024. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
