A popular stop for tourists on a Golden Circle Tour or locals traveling via ring road highway 1 Almar Bakari is integrated in a complex with shops and restrooms with a good selection of housemade Pastries, Sandwiches, Soups, Coffee and Tea.

Well priced by comparison to the capitol, Almar’s jumbo Snúður the came sost as one half the size at Sandholt, both it and a heavily sprinkled Donut were soft and fluffy while the Meistarinn fell short of similarly flavored Vínarbrauð at Brikk.
