A week ago on a windy day, I took my camera on a walk down The LINQ Promenade, the paved brick street between the Flamingo Las Vegas and “The LINQ Hotel + Experience.” Hadn’t been there in a while, but not much has changed–it’s still a great place to people watch and wander around. I parked in the nearby lot and paid some $20. The walk from that parking lot to The LINQ Promenade takes some maneuvering — but I made it. The more convenient place to park is valet parking within the LINQ. The cost there is $40 even for an hour of parking.

If one is there longer than three hours, it does indeed cost $20–but I have been to the LINQ twice in the last week, saw a show and exited the parking lot with about 20 minutes to spare–no charge of any kind. Caesars Entertainment, Inc. originally developed the LINQ Promenade, but it was sold to a private joint venture firm in 2024. It’s free to walk down the promenade, but you can indeed spend money to ride the High Roller or eat or shop in the various restaurants and stores. The LINQ Promenade remains a fun way to see and enjoy Las Vegas. My video is below:
