Las Vegas is preparing for a summer celebration that promises to be bigger, brighter, and louder than ever before.

To honor America’s 250th birthday, the city will host what officials are calling the nation’s largest Fourth of July fireworks experience, transforming the Las Vegas Strip and downtown skyline into a giant neon-and-fireworks postcard for eight consecutive Saturdays this summer.

According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the America250 Fireworks Celebration will kick off on June 6 and continue every Saturday night through July 25. Each show is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will feature synchronized music broadcasts along with multiple launch locations across the resort corridor and downtown Las Vegas.

The rotating schedule includes iconic Las Vegas properties such as:

  • Caesars Palace
  • Treasure Island
  • The Venetian Resort
  • MGM Grand
  • ARIA Resort & Casino
  • Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
  • Resorts World Las Vegas
  • Fontainebleau Las Vegas
  • The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower

Downtown Las Vegas will also join the festivities with fireworks launched near:

  • The Plaza Hotel & Casino
  • Binion’s Gambling Hall
  • Fremont Street Experience

The biggest show of all is planned for July 4th, when fireworks will erupt from nine rooftops along the Strip in a synchronized citywide spectacle designed to celebrate America’s milestone birthday.

The celebration is expected to deliver a major boost to Las Vegas tourism during the summer season, drawing visitors from around the country while showcasing the city’s growing reputation as a destination for large-scale entertainment events. Local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and entertainment venues are all expected to benefit from the increased visitor traffic throughout June and July.

In addition to the fireworks, special programming will also appear on the famous Sphere exterior display, adding another layer of visual energy to an already electric summer lineup.

For Las Vegas residents, it’s another reminder that living here means having front-row seats to events most cities can only dream about. One weekend you’re watching a sunset over Red Rock, the next you’re watching fireworks launch from casino rooftops like a scene from a futuristic movie trailer.

Summer 2026 is shaping up to be one unforgettable season in Southern Nevada.
