The Las Vegas Raiders have signed undrafted free agent wide receiver Jonathan Brady, a Bishop Gorman High School graduate, the team said today.

Brady, a 5-foot-10, 183-pound wide receiver and return specialist, played two seasons at New Mexico State (2022-23) before transferring to Cal in 2024 and then to Indiana, where he played his senior season in 2025 and helped the Hoosiers to an undefeated season and a national championship.

Brady was part of the Raiders’ rookie minicamp over the weekend.

Last season, Brady served primarily as Indiana’s punt returner, recording 347 yards and one touchdown on 21 punt returns, an average of 16.5 yards per return that ranked sixth in the FBS. He also caught 14 passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns.

Over his college career, Brady played in 57 games, totaling 112 receptions for 1,432 yards and 13 receiving touchdowns. He also rushed 24 times for 150 yards and one touchdown.

On special teams, he recorded 32 punt returns for 440 yards and a touchdown, along with 16 kickoff returns for 317 yards.

Brady helped Bishop Gorman to a 30-2 record over three seasons and the 2021 state title.

In a corresponding move, the Raiders placed wide receiver Justin Shorter on the reserve/injured list.

He joins multiple locals already in the fold with the franchise — defensive tackle Jonah Laulu (Centennial), defensive back Kyu Blu Kelly (Gorman), wide receiver Jalen Nailor (Gorman), rookie free agent safety Devyn Perkins (Las Vegas High) and Treven Ma’ae (Gorman). Nailor arrived this offseason from the Minnesota Vikings after signing a three-year, $35 million contract.

Laulu and Kelly saw significant action last season with the Raiders; Ma’ae was part of the franchise’s practice squad.
