This scene at Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara is hard to miss.

It’s called the Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shops and signs proclaim “World’s Largest Gift Shop.” I hadn’t visited in years, but drove to the gift shop last Thursday. My biggest surprise? The items in the gift shop were so neatly displayed I felt bad for my own kitchen counters. Shirts hung neatly. Rows of keychains all in order. Cactus in a huge shelf display. Beer boxes stacked on more beer boxes. Water bottles with sparkle. Keychains in layers….everything. I saw one sign that said, “If you break it you’ve bought it” but it seems the customers are as courteous as the gift shop itself. No trash….anywhere.

Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shops opened in 1980, In 2016 the gift shop sold to a man named Haim Gabay for $50 million. The property is 2 acres at the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara and has a good deal of up-front free parking. The gift shop has been in the news recently for reportedly selling counterfeit products associated with Formula One Racing just before the Las Vegas Grand Prix race in Las Vegas in 2023. A lawsuit was filed by F1/Las Vegas Grand Prix against the store in August 2025.

Visiting the stores is quite interesting and worth a look, even without needing to buy a souvenir. Yes, Bonanza Golf & Souvenir Shops is large and the variety of items, for children and adults, is remarkable. Obviously, this store is not the world’s largest gift store, this is trademark name! A couple pictures from my recent visit:

The Bonanza Gift & Souvenir Shops are so large one picture doesn’t do it justice. Lots of room to roam and explore.
