LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A’ja Wilson, star center for the Las Vegas Aces, is the first WNBA player to receive a Funko Pop! figure. Images of her figure were revealed on Wednesday as pre-orders for the new series opened.

The figure depicts Wilson, wearing number 22, with one leg elevated, holding a red and white basketball, and going airborne for a shot.

Labeled as number one in the Funko Pop! WNBA line, Wilson joins Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, Brianna Stewart of the New York Liberty, Lauren Jackson of the Seattle Storm, and Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever as the first WNBA players to be immortalized in vinyl. Additionally, Doppler, mascot for the Storm, received its own figure.

“Bringing these trailblazing athletes to our Pop! lineup is not just about collectibles—it’s about celebrating the energy, talent, and influence of women’s basketball,” said Cynthia Williams, CEO of Funko.

Wilson played a crucial role on the Aces’ championship teams in 2022 and 2023. In the 2023 WNBA Finals, the 6’4″ center was named Most Valuable Player, recording the most rebounds and leading in points during games two and four, which helped secure a 3-1 series victory over the New York Liberty.

Funko Pop! vinyl collectibles gained popularity in the early 2010s with four-inch figures based on popular franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, and Harry Potter.

Wilson’s Pop! figure was announced on May 7. Preorders for the figures are available now and are expected to ship at the end of June. The Aces will begin their regular season on May 17 against the Liberty in New York. Their home opener is scheduled for May 23 at Michelob ULTRA Arena, facing Washington.
