LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nearly two dozen drivers were arrested during a recent DUI blitz in the Las Vegas valley.
“Remember there are too many safe options to drive impaired,” a post on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s X account stated. There were 23 DUI arrests, 164 citations, and two other arrests for other crimes that police didn’t release details on.
The DUI blitz took place on Saturday, March 22, and involved officers from LVMPD, North Las Vegas and the Nevada State Police.
Metro police are conducting DUI blitzes regularly to crack down on DUI drivers.
