LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Fire Department responded to two separate house fires in the east Las Vegas valley Sunday afternoon.
Around 12:50 p.m. Sunday, CCFD responded to a house fire in the 1600 block of Labrador Drive near Sloan Lane and Charleston Boulevard. When crews arrived at the two-story home, they found a fire in the garage that was extending inside the house, CCFD said.

Crews extinguished the fire and there were no injuries to the firefighter and one person inside the home was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation, CCFD said.
The cause of the fire was undetermined as of Sunday.
Two battalion chiefs, five engines, one truck and two ALS rescues responded to the fire.
The second fire occurred around 3:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of Townhouse Drive near Sandhill Drive and East Desert Inn Road. When fire crews arrived they found a small exterior fire which they extinguished before it extended into the home, CCFD said.

There were no reports of any injuries to both firefighters and civilians, according to CCFD. The cause of the fire was undetermined as of Sunday afternoon.
