LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The FBI is investigating “body scan” clinics operated in Nevada and across the U.S., issuing a statement on Wednesday that they are trying to find patients who used the services of Mary Blakley.
“Dr. Mary” uses many last names, including Blakely, Blakleley, Blakeley, Blankley, Cammer, Davis, Petry, Shjlom, and Venable. She is known to use various first names, including Marye, Marye Yvonnea, Rosemary, Rose Mary, Rose, and Yvonne, according to the FBI.
Most recently, the clinics have operated in Nevada, Arizona, California, Colorado and Utah. Clinics across the U.S. have operated since 2011, the FBI said.
“Mary Blakley is a 75-year-old white female who allegedly posed as a doctor and/or PhD, as early as 2002 through December 2024. She operated clinics with her husband, Floyd ‘Fred’ Blakley, and associates,” the FBI said.
They are charged with allegedly having operated a fraudulent scheme where Mary conducted “full body scans” at their clinics, claiming they could detect, treat and cure cancer and various other illnesses with an ultrasound machine. The Blakleys and their associates prescribed and sold various products to treat and cure the illnesses they diagnosed, the FBI said.
The FBI said the clinics operated under names including Sonic Waves Research, Living Well Ministry, Living Well Health Club, Living Well Warriors, The Blakley Foundation, Health Screenings 4 Life, Health Scans 4 Life, Health Screening 4 Life, Health Screens 4 Life and London Bridge Wellness Center.
