LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man found dead in northeast Las Vegas was shot to death, police said Saturday.

The man, who was found on Thursday near West Owens Avenue and Stocker Street in northeast Las Vegas, was located after police received a report of a dead body.

When officers arrived, they found the man between a building and railroad tracks in the area. An autopsy showed that the man had been shot, and officials ruled his manner of death as a homicide.

Police said the investigation into the man’s death is ongoing. No word was given on any potential suspects, and Clark County coroner’s office officials are expected to release the man’s identity in the coming days.
