LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after she was hit in a driveway in the central Las Vegas valley, according to police.
On Saturday around 4:05 p.m., police responded to a private property in the 720 block of Royal Crest Circle near University Center Drive and Desert Inn Road.
Evidence at the scene showed that a Prius was driving through a parking lot and made a turn, attempted to enter a parking garage. At the same time, a woman was walking through the driveway and entered the path of the Prius, police said.
The 64-year-old woman was hit by the Prius, knocking her to the ground. She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
