LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 15-year-old girl testified that a Las Vegas-area high school football coach repeatedly had sex with her in his school office, according to grand jury transcripts obtained by the 8 News Now Investigators.
A Clark County grand jury listened to testimony from the teen girl and a Las Vegas Metro police detective before indicting 45-year-old Antwone Washington.
The teen testified that Washington had sex with her so many times, she could not provide a number, according to the transcripts.
“A lot. Many. I don’t even know how many anymore,” she testified.
Police said they found four videos of Washington and the teen having sex, the material so graphic it is now sealed. Chief Deputy District Attorney William ‘Billy’ Rowles previously described one video in which Washington urinated on the teen and another in which the teen appeared to be gagged and bound as Washington penetrated her from behind.
The indictment against Washington is for nine felony charges including four counts of using or permitting a minor over the age of 14 to produce pornography, three counts of statutory sexual seduction by a person over the age of 21, and one count each of first-degree kidnapping of a minor and contacting or attempting to contact a minor by a person of authority for sex.
Washington most recently worked as Valley High School’s head football coach, a campus security monitor, and according to the teen, a girls’ basketball coach.
The teen testified she met Washington while she was in the ninth grade and Washington approached her boyfriend about playing football. She and Washington exchanged social media information where the conversations quickly became sexual, she said.
“The more we talked the more inappropriate the conversations got,” she said. “We would get more open about what I would be sexually doing. And then that’s where we started talking about more sexual things, him being open about his past and his sexual problems.”
The teen testified Washington told her she was “sexy” and “hot,” and she referred to “dirty texting” during school hours.
“And I was in school during it. Like I was literally in the bathroom,” she said. “He was doing his job.”
Washington had sex with the teen multiple times throughout the summer in his office during summer school, his car, and at one of his girlfriends’ homes, she testified.
The girlfriend also recorded video of Washington and the teen having sex, she said.
The girlfriend is referred to as “Sissy” and “Justice” in the court transcripts. Police said they are working to identify her.
Washington, who is married to an individual who works in Las Vegas Justice Court, according to marriage records, told police he had a polygamous relationship. The case was moved from Las Vegas to Henderson Justice Court due to the personal connection, the 8 News Now Investigators learned, despite Las Vegas Justice Court administration’s refusal to comment.
The teen had been stopped while in a vehicle with another adult man in September, according to document. Police confiscated the teen’s cell phone and found the videos with Washington, Detective Tabatha Dionisio testified.
Washington’s Snapchat handle was “JustthetipLV,” and he also went by the name “Bishop,” according to Dionisio.
When the girl told Washington police were in possession of her cell phone, the relationship ended, she testified.
“He got scared. He immediately took off all his platforms as much as he could. He tried to delete everything,” she said. “And then his mood changed and then that’s when I got mad because he took away the father love he was giving me.”
Washington wrote an apology letter, confessed to Las Vegas Metro police about having a sexual relationship with the girl, told police he has a fetish where he likes to role play, and likes to pretend “that these girls are in his home and that he’s their ‘daddy,'” according to Rowles.
Dionisio said Washington claimed he thought the girl was 16 years old. The age of consent in the state of Nevada is 16 years old.
The teen testified her mother knew about the sexual relationship with Washington and had given her permission. She is now in the care of another family member.
Washington remained in custody Monday evening with a $100,000 bail. If he is posts bond, he is required to be on house arrest, and stay away from the alleged victim in the case, anyone under the age of 16, and all Clark County School District properties.
An initial arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 18.
