LAS VEGAS (KLAS)– China Mama at Palace Station will open on Friday, Dec. 6, bringing “delicacies derived from Cantonese, Szechuan, and Dongbei cuisine,” according to a news release.

“China Mama will be a welcomed addition to the culinary scene at Palace Station,” Lee Torres, Vice President and General Manager of Palace Station, said.

“As part of our ongoing updates to the culinary offerings at Palace Station, we are committed to offering high-quality, local favorite dining experiences, and are thrilled to add authentic Chinese cuisine in a stunning setting from the beloved China Mama restaurant family.”

The restaurant replaces Boathouse Asian Eatery in a location on the northeast side of the property.

In May, Lindo Michoacan opened at Palace Station.

China Mama’s extensive menu will feature signature dishes such as crispy beef, crispy pork with Mama’s special sauce, sliced fish fillet with pickled mustard, dry pepper chicken, and mapo tofu.

Executive Chef Bing Chou brings more than 30 years of experience in Asian cuisine.

Chef Chou’s specials include spring salted egg yolk prawn, pork joint stewed with rock sugar, braised pork belly with small abalone, and the Chef’s Special Taro Duck.

Dishes range from basics like noodles and fried rice to luxury offerings including live seafood, braised dried abalone, braised sea cucumber, and young coconut stewed bird’s nest.

On Dec. 6, China Mama will be open at 5 p.m. and then daily at 11:00 a.m. For more information, visit www.palacestation.com.
