LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Governor Tim Walz will be returning to Las Vegas over the weekend to campaign as early voting has started in Nevada.
According to the Harris-Walz campaign, Governor Walz, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, will arrive at Harry Reid International Airport on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 26, and will “participate in political engagements” on Sunday, Oct. 27.
There are no additional details on what the engagements will be however the campaign said it is encouraging Nevadans to make a plan to vote early in-person or return their mail ballots.
Walz previously made a solo visit to Las Vegas in September as part of the “Sun Belt State Tour.” Harris also visited Las Vegas at the end of September for a campaign rally, which was her second visit to Las Vegas since she launched her presidential campaign.
Earlier in September, Harris’ husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff spoke at a campaign event in Henderson.
Walz’s stop in Las Vegas is one of several expected to be made by politicians, including former President Donald Trump, over the next week as Election Day approaches.
