LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Thousands of people struggle with hunger in the Las Vegas valley and there’s an easy way to help those dealing with food insecurity.
Mix 94.1 is teaming up with Three Square Food Bank to host the annual multi-day fundraising event, 4 Corners Food Drive, to provide families in need with free meals.
“Hunger Action Month is a time for all of us to come together, raise some awareness about the hunger problem in the nation and in our community,” Three Square marketing manager Will Edwards said. “We have more than 341,000 individuals who struggle with hunger here in Southern Nevada and more than 115,000 children live in a food insecure home.”
It only takes $1 to provide up to three meals. You can support the cause with a monetary gift or by donating canned and non-perishable food items at the following locations.
