Every Las Vegas casino has its « players cards » program.
Players card programs work in the same way as loyalty programs. They allow you to earn points when you play (slot machines, table games, poker) and other casino games.
By signing up you can earn points and perks to help enhance your Las Vegas experience – and of course, if you’re a regular player you’ll be offered various advantages and benefits. These range from discounts on restaurants, bars, and rooms for your next stay. Your points can also be converted into casino credits.
Players help you save money by rewarding for you spending your time – and money with a specific hotel or group. Today we’re going to tell you everything that there is to know about players card programs in Las Vegas.

How To Earn Points?
Every dollar spent on gaming, dining, hotel stays, or entertainment earns points.
These points accumulate over time and can be redeemed for various rewards, such as free hotel nights, dining credits, or exclusive event access (we’ll talk more about redemption later on).
Most programs have multiple tiers. As members earn more points, they can climb the tier ladder to unlock even better perks. Higher tiers often come with benefits like priority check-in, room upgrades, or invitations to VIP events.
The key to maximizing these programs is to consistently use the card throughout your stay and take advantage of both gaming and non-gaming rewards. For rewards cards can even be used when you’re not in Vegas, and others can let you earn additional points by linking your rewards card to your Visa.

How Can You Redeem Points?
Redeeming points is pretty easy too – it does depend on the individual players card program but they all make it relatively simple to redeem points.
Once you’ve accumulated enough points, they can typically be used for a wide range of rewards, including:

- Show tickets for popular Las Vegas performances
- Shopping credits at retail stores within the casino resorts

Who Has The Best Players Card Program?
The answer to this question can vary depending on the rewards you want to benefit from the most – it also depends how often you visit Las Vegas. Each of the programs above offers rewards tailored to different types of players. Here’s a quick overview of 3 of the top programs.
MGM Rewards
MGM Rewards is the loyalty program for guests of MGM Resorts, (properties like Bellagio, MGM Grand, and Mandalay Bay and more). Members can earn two types of rewards. Their third tier (gold) waives resort fees and their fourth tier (platinum) gives you up to $600 in air travel credit.
