Chinatown Las Vegas: A Newcomer with Global Impact

Las Vegas’ Chinatown may be relatively new, but its influence is already making waves across the nation and around the world. This vibrant community has captured the attention of critics and media outlets far and wide. From local magazines to national and international publications, everyone is buzzing about what Chinatown Las Vegas has to offer.

Renowned restaurant critic Bill Addison of the Los Angeles Times even declared in his article titled “The Most Exciting Place to Eat in Las Vegas is Chinatown” that this neighborhood is a culinary gem. Major outlets like National Geographic, The New York Times, and CNN are just some that have also sung its praises, solidifying Chinatown Las Vegas as a must-visit destination.

One of the most compelling examples of this influence is Hot N Juicy Crawfish, a Chinatown Las Vegas original that has expanded to 12 locations across five states. This success story, along with that of No. 1 Boba Tea, which now boasts 15 locations across three states, showcases the entrepreneurial spirit and culinary prowess emerging from Chinatown.

The recent expansion of No. 1 Boba Tea to Solvang, California, under the name Hygge Boba Tea and Smoothies, further cements its growing reputation in the boba tea industry. These success stories are a testament to the impact Las Vegas’ Chinatown is having on the national stage.

Recent expansions by the Shanghai Plaza‘s China Mama and ShangHai Taste have also made major headlines.

As Las Vegas’ Chinatown continues to nurture and launch successful businesses, its reputation only grows stronger. This once under-the-radar community is now firmly on the map, and we can’t wait to see where its homegrown brands will go next.

Now, let’s take a look at what’s new in our vibrant neighborhood.

We are starting from the east and heading west on Spring Mountain Rd:

Welcome to Pirate Jack’s Tattoo: A Resilient New Addition to Chinatown

Chinatown is excited to welcome a new member to our vibrant community! Pirate Jack’s Tattoo, originally from Maui, has found a new home in the heart of Chinatown, now open at The Center at Spring Mountain on the Valley View Boulevard side of this bustling mall.

The journey to Las Vegas wasn’t easy for the owners of Pirate Jack’s Tattoo. The recent wildfires tragically destroyed their Maui location, leaving them with the heartbreaking loss of both their home and business. With unwavering determination, they’ve rebuilt their lives and businesses here in Las Vegas, a city often called the “9th Island” by many Hawaiians.

We extend our heartfelt support to Pirate Jack’s Tattoo and applaud their incredible resilience. Let’s give them a warm Chinatown welcome and wish them all success in their new chapter!
