LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – One person is dead after a crash shut down the 215 near the north valley in Las Vegas, according to police.
It happened on Thursday shortly before 4 p.m. along I-215 westbound between Aliante Parkway and Decatur Boulevard. All 215 travel lanes westbound from Aliante Parkway to Decatur Boulevard will be closed for several hours due to the investigation, according to Nevada State Police.
The crash involved 2 vehicles, a motorcycle and a pickup truck. A man was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the pickup truck stayed at the scene, police said.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the next few hours.
