LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Remembrance ceremonies will be held in the Las Vegas valley to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
Palm Mortuaries and Cemeteries is holding the 3rd annual Memorial Day service events as well as a Veterans Resource Fair. The events will take place on over the three-day holiday weekend.
Saturday, May 25
- Palm Henderson, 800 S. Boulder Hwy., Henderson, NV 89015 (In the Garden of Honor)
8 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. – Placement of flags (Girl and Boy Scouts will help veterans place flags at the gravesites.
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Memorial Day service
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Veterans Resource Fair - Palm Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123 (In the Garden of Honor) The placement of flags takes place at 6:30 a.m.
- Palm Downtown, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101 (Placement of flags takes place at 9 a.m.)
