LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people suffering from smoke inhalation were transported to the hospital and a third was treated at the scene of an overnight fight in the east Las Vegas Valley, according to Clark County Fire Department.
Assistant Fire Chief Brian O’Neal said the mobile home fire was reported just after 1 a.m., Monday and the first engine was on the scene within six minutes. He stated in a news release that the caller reported seeing a home on fire in the 1700 block of N. Gateway Road, near Lamb Boulevard and Owens Avenue.
When crews arrived at the scene, the fire was heavily involved. Three people were treated at the scene, and two were transported to University Medical Center for smoke inhalation treatment.
The news release said the damage is estimated between $50,000 to $100,000. No firefighters were injured.
Due to the location of the home, North Las Vegas Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
