MGM Resorts International is closing another breakfast restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. On the heels of announcing that Avenue Café at MGM Grand would close permanently in November, the company has announced that Della’s Kitchen at Delano Las Vegas will close at the end of October.
The fast-casual breakfast and lunch restaurant near the Delano lobby will close on October 30, according to a press release from MGM. Open at 7 a.m. Saturday through Wednesday, the restaurant serves breakfast and lunch dishes through the early afternoon. The compact menu has morning dishes like fried chicken over Belgian-style waffles, three sandwiches like a turkey cobb wrap with hard-boiled eggs and avocado, two salad choices, and a handful of bowls like one of scrambled eggs, beef tenderloin, bacon, smashed fingerling potatoes, and hollandaise sauce. The restaurant is simply decorated with tones of tan and gold, hardwood floors, yellow booths, and walls adorned with mirrors and patterned wallpaper.
Della’s Kitchen opened in September 2014 along with the Delano, which replaced THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. MGM has not shared what its plans are for the space.
