LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Police are investigating a shooting in northeast Las Vegas that left one person with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan police, the shooting was reported shortly before 9 a.m. in the 3400 block of N. Nellis Boulevard near Gowan Road, north of Cheyenne Avenue. Southbound Nellis is closed to traffic in that area.
Police said the victim self transported to a local hospital and another person was detained.
