LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – One person was hospitalized in Henderson on Friday after a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, according to police.

It happened shortly before 10 p.m. near Eastern Avenue and Coronado Center near Horizon Ridge Parkway, according to Henderson Police.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, police said.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area as investigators conduct their investigation.
