LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The driver of a moped has died following a crash in the west Las Vegas valley, according to police.
It happened on Friday shortly after 3 p.m. in the 4000 block of El Capitan Way near Flamingo Road.
According to Las Vegas Metro police, a vehicle exited from a private drive onto El Capitan Way and struck a moped on the road. The driver of the moped died at the scene.
The other driver remained at the scene of the crash.
El Capitan Way remained closed between Flamingo Road and Saddle Avene on Friday night for several hours.
