LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A late-night shooting in a Spring Valley parking lot left one person dead and another injured. Police are looking for the shooter.
The shooting was reported around 10 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of a business near Jones Boulevard and Twain Avenue.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan police, witnesses said an argument started inside a business and a security person told the people to leave. The argument carried over into the parking lot and a person pulled out a gun and shot two people.
Both of the victims were transported to University Medical Center where one person died and the other was being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
Police said the shooter left the scene in a dark-colored vehicle headed northbound on Jones.
